Symbolic Landscape Design

Drawing and Painting students are introduced to Surrealism. Students learn about the role symbols can play in a work of art. Students create a Symbolic Landscape with objects that they feel best tells a story about who they are or where they've come from. Students utitlze either graphite or colored pencil and work from reference photos to create their artwork.
